Well what can I say......after being to the Falkirk Cruise on Thursday night and raving to Barry about how great it was, and how many nice cars there were, he was rather jealous due to him not being able to be there and enjoy the fun. So when he mentioned the Dundalk Cruise he sounded excited due to the talk of if on the Irish Forum, I was well up for going, rather than going to the cinema that we had originally planned.

After he gave the car a wash I gave it a quick hoover and off we went for the long drive down south. Now back home, the number of miles wouldn't have taken the time it did in Ireland due to the fact we have Motorways and they don't, so lots of fun was had down the twisty back roads lol.

We reached McDonalds to be met by hundreds of screaming kids, arghhhhhhh not what I call fun. So we parked up to eat our food and I was getting a bit worried as they hadn't turned up to meet us as we didn't know where to go from there and also we knew no-one. Then in drives a gorgeous Evo 7, Golf GTI TDI and a Rikki look a like in a Rover, I couldn't believe it, his looks and his actions were the exact same as Rikki's very spooky and he drove a Rover.

We left and we must have driven for approx 1 hour and we arrived at this very dark dodgy looking car park, it then appeared the gates were closed so they moved to this industrial estate, which would have been ideal but there were no lights and very little space to park lots of cars, it was still buzzing, but I started to compare it to Falkirk and I thought this was rubbish. Then 10 mins later a queue of cars came flooding in, one after another they just kept coming, things started to look better.

Music started to blare from different cars, neon's were turned on and camera's started flashing. One thing that springed to mind was it was very Fast & The Furious, everyone was out there cars, the crowds of folk were huge, whereas in Scotland folk stay in there car and drive about. Also just like cruises here, there had to be the neds with the bottles of buckfast, tho I don't know what they were drinking, it looked the same bottle but the label was slightly different, so I did feel a bit paranoid when Barry was away taken pics and I knew no'one and I was prob the only Scottish person there, but luckily there was no hassle. With Falkirk it was like all the Nissan Skylines turned up, well at Dundalk it was Evo's and Twin Cams lol. Also seen the exact same Golf Turbo like mine, same colour etc and also it only had 3 alloys, sounds familiar lol.

Well after being there for a couple of hours we decided to call it a night as we had a long drive back home, so we left at 10.30. as soon as we got out the town the fog fell and we couldn't see two feet in front of us, at some points Barry was driving at 20mph with a top speed about 40mph, therefore I can say I didn't enjoy that part. So in my opinion it was a great cruise, very different compared to Falkirk but I have to say I have been to two of the best cruises in one week, and when is the next lol.
