The monthly meets at Falkirk have been going on for as long
as I can remember and with a break of actual summer and
the sun splitting the sky we decided it was about
time we navigated through the contraflow
cones and average speed camera to get
along to the Falkirk Wheel carpark
once again.
Even though the weather couldn't be better
and the cops were being decent the cruise felt
a bit weird. Lots of little cliques spread
around the place and not a lot of interaction
or fun. The police presence wasn't to blame as
they were playing it cool and speaking to cruisers instead of harassing them so we're not quite sure why things felt so odd.
That said there was a decent turn out and a load of cars that you don't usually see at other events and cruises. Sticking out for us was the immaculate Corsa with a valver swap and gleaming engine bay and the bad boy Scirocco rolling on monochromatic wheels.
With continued decent weather hopefully the next one wont feel quite as strange and there will be some better attitudes from the locals too... well here's hoping anyway
