The mid year GlasgowCruise was incredible
better than anyone imagined it would be
perhaps the best one yet some folk even
comparing the atmosphere to what it was like at
Strathy park many years ago. What made it so good? Well
it wasn't the attraction of a magazine or DVD crew turning
up, there wasn't any "big thing" happening so it must be that
since the GC's are spread out nicely across the year, people actually
look forward to them and make the effort to turn up unlike the once a month cruises
where folks know if they don't bother with one they can catch the next one 4 weeks later.
Turning up at quarter to 9 it proved tricky finding a parking space with the whole car park filled end to end. Some council officials were standing around wondering what the hell was going on and we heard they'd even asked some of the cruisers to Pay and Display  The cruise lasted well into the night and didn't taper off after an hour like most do. With everything from classic American cars to 4x4's, Cosworth's and Jap turbo's on display there was something for everyone. With the weather being bright all day and fairly warm the turnout was just immense but for some reason nearly 95% of all the girls at the cruise were wearing yellow?!
By the time we got home and logged on to the forum people were already commenting on how much they enjoyed the night and how they cant wait for the next one - neither can we!
