Lets face it 6.15 on a Sunday morning is not a time anyone likes to wake up, but we had to with the alarm squeaking away beside us I wake up uttering words I can't repeat on here.
We run about like blue arsed flies and finally leave the flat (late as usual). A quick trip down the motorway and a couple of "OH SHIT WE FORGOT SOMETHING"s later we arrive at the park. A few people have already gathered ready to convoy so tickets are handed out, and we start to make our way.
Convoy is reasonably uneventful (which is a good thing). En route we pick up R33 GTR and his skyline and Rabs pug. As we pull close to Knockhill we realise the weather isn't great and I wonder why on earth I wore a skirt. We find our way to the stand site which is perfectly placed just in front of the toilets and a stones throw from the hot tub comp (they must know us).
Then the fun begins as we try to put up the banner, wire cutters, lots of pairs of hands and 2 "borrowed" cones make a good stand for the banner. And we all look proud as everyone stands back and smiles at it flapping about in the wind.
Then we go for a wander, the wind calms a little and everyone whips out the polish and cloths. I realise I wasn't the only one to wear a skirt as I see other ladies wandering about with hankies covering their bits and bobs. We make our way to the poster signing and hot tub area.
The wet T-shirt comp was a success as ever although some of the lads in the audience felt the need to boo a lass because she wouldn't "get them out for the lads". It takes a lot of guts to get up there in front of 3000 people and whip your boobs out, I doubt the lads would have the guts to strip in that situation. Well done to all who entered.
More pictures taken around and about and Stuart spends the day eating, needless to say he was gutted when he missed out on two models in the back of his car because he went to get ANOTHER burger.
Brilliant day and hopefully we will be there again soon.
