Sunday, 31st of August 2003
We woke up on Sunday to the sun trying to shine and started to get ready to go motorworld. For a day that started ok everything seemed to go wrong. Eventually we made it to the car and went off to the 2nd Kroozin day at Motherwell, with the promise of exotic dancers, pole dancers and PVC (and cars lol) Rikki was eager to get there.
We arrive and park ½ a mile down the road (good to see it's busy) then make our way towards the thump of bass lines and cheering of crowds. We arrive to find everyone staring at the stage as the pole dance is underway. Rikki grabs a few quick shots over the heads of the cheering guys, and we start to have a look about.
We see lots of nice cars and amazing ice installs. The sound off is well underway and the mad MC is running about letting everyone know about the great deals and up and coming events (oh and not to mention "the neighbour has complained about a Peugeot being parked across his driveway move it or it gets towed") oops.
Wandering about we get lots of pictures of various things. Then the girls are back on stage to entertain, with 5 guys lined up they whittle it down to one with some very dodgy dancing from the males and he is given a "lapdance" and covered in water.
We then go to watch two guys beat each other up in padded sumo costumes (although I would say one was doing the beating and the other just kept falling over). Then back to the stage to get pictures and video of the tribute band.
After 4 hours we head for home, a really enjoyable day and hopefully next year there will be something to entertain the ladies on stage. We look forward to the next Kroozin day.
