A.V.A. + clear sunny day + loads of mental Cossies, had to be worth popping over and taking a look ,arrived just after nine and started to worry as the show was meant to start at nine and there was about five people there.
Suddenly in the distance all you could hear was a thunderous roar which could have been mistaken for a aero plane taking off except the fact that the dump valves were dumping constantly, suddenly a line of fords start pulling up in convoy like something from a film ranging from a mint mk1 to a striped out 2 door sierra Cosworth track car.
About half nine the show kicks off with the 4 wheel Sapphires going first gradually the guys at AVA worked there way through the 40 cars that were booked that day with highest output car of the day being the track two door Sierra.
My personal favourite being AVA own special creation the Escort RST with the 2.0 litre Zetec bottom end and the turbo head producing a might flame from the exhaust and a healthy 272 bhp on the rollers.
All in all it turned out to be a good day not just for the ford fans for all sorts there was an Evo 6 a GTIR for sale that boasted low twelve's at Crail and a smart M3 convertible mad a couple of crazy bikers came along to create a good mix and a cracking atmosphere look forward to the next one.
