FastCar @ Crail - The Big One! - Sunday, 24th of August 2008

"FAST CAR magazine's 'Quest for the Best' in Scotland will take place at Crail Raceway on Sunday 31 August.
This is Scotland's biggest interactive modified show of the year, open to all types and models of vehicles, with the main prize of the day going to the best on the 1/4 mile strip.
Qualifying heats start at 0930hrs, shoot outs will follow at 1600hrs. Lamborghini or Nova, participants can battle with Scotland's best at Crail Raceway.
Classes include: Best Retro/Hot Rod, Best Front, Four and Rear Wheel Drive, Best Bike, Best Diesel, Best Babe on the 1/4 mile and of course Ultimate Scottish FAST CAR 2008. Meanwhile the Show and Shine prizes remain as standard for club stands, club cars and Best in Show.
On the day, Fast Car journalists, Jules and Scary, will be on hand to catch the best vehicles in action, as well judging the Ultimate Scottish FAST CAR Drifter 2008. Fast Car will also be touring the Show and Shine enclosure to choose feature cars for the modified car bible.
The Corona main stage is hosted by Dave Moran and DJ Cohn, from Wave 102. For those not driving, a bar will be set up next to the stage. In addition, girls from gentleman's club, Liquorice, will be strutting their stuff, both front and back stage, providing additional entertainment, while later, members of the audience will take part in the annual Miss Wet USFC 2008.
Eyes to the sky for the Golden Lions, who will be the quickest to hit the tar, as they freefall to the Drag Strip.
New to Crail this year is the News of the World, Score Girls. Erin Gavin, from Erin Gavin Models, comments: "The News of the World Score Angels are Scotland's top dancers and models. The girls will be making a special guest appearance for crowds at Crail Raceway."
The News of the World will be at the event to cover the day's activities.

Autosport International 2009 - Sunday, 24th of August 2008
It might be 5 months away but it's never too early to plan your trip to the annual Autosport show and we've already got our hotels booked!
Autosport International is without a doubt the best show around for people into performance. It's not a tits 'n ass fest like most (though there are of course some good looking PR chicks around)- it's 100% about the cars and making them go fast.

Mini Cooper S 1.6 Does 10 Second 1/4 Mile - Thursday, 21st of August 2008
ABF's Mini Cooper S (with slight mods) was on form at a recent filming session for the TV show Pinks, racking up a 10.4 second quarter mile and crossing the line at 135mph.
